Cousin Dean and Zoe have just arrived. Will be great hanging out with them for the next few days before heading back to Bangkok on the 1st. Spent today out and about on the scooters eating and swimming. Very relaxing. More so the yesterday when we went on a cruise to islands in the near by Ao Thong national park. We had a 2 and a half hour return journey in very rough seas. Got tossed around and felt lucky to get to dry land in one piece in the dark.

Great to catch up with your travels again and hope you had a good birthday Beth - I was thinking of you as I flew from London back to ChCh and spent the 29th in Singapore. Particularly love the beach and elephant photos. Fantastic to spend that time at the wildlife park. Looks like you are having the most tremendous family adventure - would just love to be there. Congratulations on reaching base camp - brilliant achievement. Hi to Dean and Zoe also.
